Social Justice

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
UUCA has an enduring commitment to promoting social justice.  We work for justice, equity, and compassion in our relationships and seek systemic change in our society. We know that the escalation of economic inequality undergirds a thousand injustices, from climate change to homelessness, from mass incarceration to low-wage worker exploitation. Economic inequality also disproportionately impacts people of color. A better world is possible, and we strive to be part of the solution.

With the assistance of his mother, Liz James, Anthony produced a seven-minute video with soundtrack by Emma’s Revolution and images of support from individuals and Unitarian congregations across Canada.
