The Food Pantry at University Presbyterian Church needs volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30-4:00.Work with 3 or 4 other volunteers filling grocery bags, checking out clients, or stocking shelves. You can work with a friend. For more information, call the church office.
 

Habitat for Humanity Buffalo is planning "WOMEN BUILD 2010". The home will be built in May through October 2010, and they have scheduled many events before ground breaking. Dear Friends: As you are aware there was severe flooding in parts of Erie, Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties in WNY.  Help is needed both in the short term and the long term.

While federal, state and counties are involved, along with national religious disaster response organizations, the Red Cross and other groups, there remains a nee
d for volunteers. At the moment there are three specific contacts in three specific areas.
