Margaret Wooster: Meander: The Dire Need for Conserving Stream Corridors
WATER. whether we swim in it, play in it, or drink it, is crucial to everyone. Dr. Margaret Wooster, SUNY professor and well known author, will speak at our church on Monday, Jan 22 at 7:00 pm. As a scientist, she has long studied the waters of WNY, as a writer. she shows her love of the beauty and wonder of this wealth of nature we have in WNY. Expect some fascinating stories based on the author’s exploration of WNY rivers and streams, and learn about the “hill of water”. Dr. Wooster is author of “Living Waters: Reading the Rivers of the Lower Great Lakes”. A potluck dinner at 6:00pm will precede the presentation. Sponsored by the Green Sanctuary Committee.
