UU Theater Lovers!
The Jewish Repertory Theatre will be featuring Imagining Madoff by Deb Margolin. The director is Greg Natale, and the cast is composed of Robert Ruland, Ellen Horst, and Saul Elkin.
It is about the unrepentant Ponzi-schemer, Bernard Madoff, who sets the record straight from his prison cell, recounting an all-night study session with Holocaust survivor, poet and investment client, Solomon Galkin. With testimony from Madoff’s personal secretary, before the Securities and Exchange commission, we delve into the minds of two towering men, as their mutual will to confide and confess accelerates through the night.

Imagining Madoff will be performed in the new Maxine & Robert Seller Theatre in the Benderson Family Building at the J.C.C. Amherst Center on 2640 N. Forest Rd, Getzville. Discounts tickets for $25 each will be available for the following dates:
~Sunday, Oct. 23 at 2pm
~Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2pm
~Saturday, Nov. 5 at 4 & 8pm
Checks should be made payable to the Jewish Repertory Theatre and sent to S.V., 32 Park Lane Court, Williamsville, NY 14221.
Please include your name, address, phone no., performance date and time, and number of tickets. Checks must be received eight (8) days before the performance. (Order blanks are available on the table in the church foyer.)

We are planning on getting a group together to attend the Nov. 5th performance at 4pm, and would like to go to dinner afterwards. If you are interested, please either call or email me, Cindy Baumgartner.

Edward Irvin Cain, 24-year-old son of Barbara Cain and David Irvin, has a CD of original music out (his 7th!). His song "Turn to Wise" can be heard for free at his website eddiecainirvin.com.

Ed describes his music this way: "rhythm-hungry piano pop rock: lush with harmony, loaded with energy, crazy like a fox". If that isn't your style, please let your kids/grandkids know about it!

Hi, everyone.
I'm looking to recruit LOTS more volunteers for the Ken-Ton Meals on Wheels program. There is a wonderful article in the Tonawanda News about volunteering here. I was hoping you might be able to pass this along to friends in the area who might have an interest in volunteering or be able to tell others about the opportunity.

Many thanks!
