  • Our Sunday church services are at 10:30am.  Each service has a different focus and is described in the newsletter and in the events section on the home page.
  • Nursery is available for children under 5 between 10:15 and 11:45.
  • Faith Development for children 5 and older starts about 10:45 a.m. when the children leave service after the “Time for All Ages,” except when it is a service for all generations.
  • Coffee and Conversation follow the service in the Emerson Room — a perfect time to mingle, ask questions and get to know us!
  • Special Interest groups startup at 11:45 (young adult meetup) and noon (poetry, book discussion, Little Free Pantry–on specific Sundays).

  • Greeters will meet you at the door and direct you to the welcome desk.
  • At the welcome desk, name tags and information material are available.  People at the desk can assist you with finding specific locations (chapel, nursery, faith development wing, etc.).
  • Everyone, adults and children, starts the morning in the service.  If your child becomes restless, there is a children’s area set up at the rear of the chapel for their use.
  • Once inside the Chapel, an Usher will hand you an order of service.  Many of the songs and readings will be projected on the screen at the front of the chapel. Sit wherever you are comfortable. Headsets are available if you need amplification to hear well.
  • In the order of service, the asterisk indicates congregation rising in body or spirit.  The candle indicates potential times for lighting a candle (located in the back of the chapel).  There is also information about upcoming events and ways to get involved.
  • Gathering Music marks the start of the service at 10:25 am.
  • After a brief welcome, a few moments are devoted to greeting each other.
  • A meditation period with music follows during which you are invited to put a stone in the finger labyrinth at the front of the chapel.   This begins the process of quieting down and engaging at a spiritual level.
  • Readings follow as listed in the service program.  The Minister also lets folks know when to sit or stand, as you are physically able.
  • Collection that supports the work of this church is taken about mid-service.
  • Our Minister offers a sermon, “spoken reflection,” that combines the history of our religion, world religions, philosophies and moral concepts to bring a new sense of living the principled life.
  • The service ends with the Extinguishing of the Chalice, a sung  Parting Blessing and a Benediction.
  • Coffee Hour begins immediately after service in the Emerson Room just off the Chapel.
  • Our Coffee Hour, with its Free Trade coffee and donated bake goods, provides a time to connect with children, newcomers, the minister and each other.
