Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Amherst, a community whose spirit strives to inspire, celebrate, and serve – transforming lives to transform the world. At UUCA, you will find faith development opportunities for all ages, a loving and supportive community for fellowship, and ways to live your values through social justice work.
Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal faith, not a creedal one. Our ancestor, Francis David, is attributed with saying, “We need not think alike to love alike.” Whether you identify as a theist, humanist, atheist, or engage in eclectic spiritual practices – if love is at the center of your values and beliefs, you will fit right in.
Whoever you are, wherever you come from, whomever you love… You are welcome in this religious home. We look forward to getting to know you and to sharing this adventure of a lifetime.
What do you think? This is a new design of our website and in the spirit of the 5th Unitarian Universalist Principle, – “the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large,” – we welcome your comments.
